The RILEM Youth Council & the Organizing Committee of ISBM2026 are delighted to invite RILEM Young researchers, engineers and professionals to participate in the “RILEM Youth Competition”.

Participants are encouraged to submit a single-authored short paper (5 to 6 pages). If accepted, the papers will be published in indexed Springer Proceedings and the young member will be invited to deliver a 3-minutes long presentation of a poster, showcasing their groundbreaking research and expertise. A Q&A session will follow, fostering discussion and networking opportunities with conference attendees and industry stakeholders.

RILEM Youth Competition Awards
The three best single-authored submissions by a RILEM Young member will be awarded and considered for publication in the esteemed international journals of Materials and Structures, Road Materials and Pavement Design, and Journal of Testing and Evaluation.
The session will conclude with an Italian aperitivo with RYC representatives, offering a perfect setting for further networking and celebration of research/career achievements.
* Eligible participant is a RILEM Young member having less than 35 years of age, or RILEM member enrolled in a university degree program (Master's or Ph.D.) or within 12 months of completing a PhD, regardless of age.
