The congress opening ceremony will take place in the Aula Magna of the historic Palazzo Bo, the centuries-old seat of the University of Padua, one of the world’s oldest universities, founded in 1222. This iconic venue bears witness to a rich academic tradition: Galileo Galilei once taught here, and his lectern is still preserved, alongside the remarkable Teatro Anatomico, the world’s oldest surviving anatomy theatre.
Following the ceremony, next to Palazzo Bo attendees will be welcomed to a cocktail in the elegant loggias of the Palazzo della Ragione, a historic civic palace at the heart of Padua, offering a perfect setting to mingle while enjoying the city’s unique blend of history and culture.
